WEBOct 9, 2021 · I just plugged my 8KX in. Saw a flicker every 2 seconds on both eyes. Rather annoyed. I was on the latest firmware and on the latest pitool. However I found that reburning the firmware onto the headset fixed the flickering problem for me. To fix: Launch this tool: C:\Program Files\Pimax\Runtime\Dfu. Note Dfu is the executable name.

WEBFeb 20, 2022 · It does not chime when plugging in the Pimax DP. Uninstalled GPU drivers and reinstalled with PC restarts between all operations. Tried numerous PiTool versions and numerous 8KX firmware versions rebooting PC between every change and still can't get the Pimax to be detected when plugging into the RTX display port.
