About 300 people (including marketing) in total worked on Breath of the Wild, as seen in the credits. 300 developers x $100,000 x 4 years = 120 million. Not all staff worked on BotW for all 4 years, a lot of the Zelda team was working on ALBW before BotW.

They're just abilities that either work or don't work for the game being made, but the "lore justification" has always been a stretch.

I have a weaker PC than you (2080 Ti/9700k) and Cemu runs BOTW as if it was a native PC port. 120+ fps with increased draw distance, running at ultrawide res 3440x1440. For Totk it seems the best anyone can expect right now is 30fps with some rendering issues.

WEBMar 7, 2018 · ths state of CEMU is kinda of insane, BOTW at 4k even at 30 frames is a completely different game, plus you get all these mods and graphics packs from the cominuty, Nintendo surely is missing a point not understanding how much some people ( like me ) would love one of their consoles to be a beast in terms of raw power, will try this out on the weekend, thanks for sharing OP!

Like in TLOZ both are about 10 years old, but in Zelda II, they have aged up to about 16. Ocarina of Time has them at about 10 in the child half and 17 in the adult half. (Or is it 9 and 16 years old?)
