We did the white water rafting Middle Ocoee River trip. Libba was our guide. I would recommend her highly. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the river. I’m usually pretty scared of these type of… Full review by Susan H

I only did the middle section and it was about right for our group and the time we had to travel. My husband took a group of boys (teenagers) on the longer trip. He said the rapids were more intense on the Olympic section but there was more space in between rapids when you were just floating along. The middle (shorter) section has enough time between rapids to get your bearings and then you hit another rapid. There is a bit of time where they let you hop out and go swimming as well. It all just depends on how long you want to spend on the water. It’s a beautiful area and fun trip. I highly recommend it.

Apologies for the delayed response, we did not receive the notification of the question. You need to be 12 to commercially raft the Ocoee River. The other option is the Hiwassee River which we also do, you only need to commercially be 5 to raft the Hiwassee. We will provide you with a funyak or raft and you will guide yourself down the Hiwassee. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
Anyone have Bandy as their river guide? I'd heard that he's a fun, energetic, and charismatic river guide on the Ocoee River. Anyone have an experience similar to Garrett? Thank you, Tom

We had Bandy and he was great. By far the best guide I've had. I would highly recommend him to any group.
