By a large margin this the best gondola ride I have ever had. Views were spectacular and the staff were very helpful in ensuring folk got safely on and off. And it was free! Full review by RoverP

Oh it pretty short, no more than 5min or so. But there are two runs. You go up from Telluride on one and get off at the mall, then there’s another one that goes up to the runs. I do not know how long that one is, we did not go up that one. But the view is amazing and so worth going up.

There is very little parking anywhere in Telluride. There are some public lots along the river near the gondola. Check one of the local maps. If those lots are full with campers and trailers you’ll have to parallel park on the city streets nearby.
Can you bring a double stroller onto the gondola? Traveling with 4 kids under 7. Also would there be any tops in between Telluride and Mountain Village that the kids would enjoy? All very active kids so easy hikes would be okay.

I don’t think the stroller would be a problem. They are very accommodating. I know in summer there are excellent short family friendly hikes from the stop at the top. I especially enjoy the one to the lookout over Telluride. For winter I would just ask when you’re there.
