Yes, you can snorkel right from the beach. You can rent gear there, but I’m not sure of the cost since we brought our own. You could also rent gear from jacks diving locker as well. …

That really depends on how fit you are. It's only 2 miles away but some of it will be uphill and you may not want to carry your beach stuff that far. It's only a 5 min drive by car.

Pretty sure the cruise ships dock far enough away that you wouldn't want to walk it. I'd suggest taking an Uber or cab.

That chain has many locations on all the islands. You could also stop by WalMart and buy a set. Enjoy the adventure!
