Lovely place. We liked everything. So many fun cars I have never seen before. Went there at 10am and was alone there. Small shop on site. Toilets. Big parking. Full review by PaolaMaiik

The Volkswagen Beetle with the number plate LMW 281F parked next to the zebra crossing belonged to one of the people living in the block of flats across from the recording studio. After the album came out, the number plate was stolen repeatedly from the car. In 1986, the car was sold at auction for £2,530 and is currently on display at the Autostadt museum in Wolfsburg, Germany.

The museum is reachable in 15-20 minutes from the train station if you walk. Not very pleasant especially in cold weather. You could try a bus. The answers with 10 minutes walking distance are either given by runners or they are mistaking the museum for the Autostadt.
