Al-Khiyam is a large town in the Nabatieh Governorate of Southern Lebanon. Al-Khiyam is situated approximately 100 kilometres south from the capital city of Beirut and 35 kilometres south-east from the city of Nabatieh. The border with Israel is 5 kilometres to the south. Khiam lies at a height of 800 metres above sea level.
