We would like to plan a visit In early February of 2020. We cannot get a straight answer about the tire chains!If we have a rental (rental companies do not provide you with tire chains) we will get a 4WD but at what point will we be stopped and told you need chains on your tires and if we don't have them how will we get to resort or lodging and DO THEY have shuttles to run up to ski area? We don't want to get stuck. we will be coming from Southern California (Long Beach) yes its about a 2 hour drive. Thanks in advance

Is Snow Summit or Big Bear resort better for beginners to learn? They have lessons at both so just wondering.

Definitely Summit side, Bear mountain is for advanced and more of the park with rails, half pipe etc.
