This is a quiet little state park. The reason we went was to see the first Washington monument. But there is so much to do here. There are hiking trails and a playground and picnic area (2 actually).… Full review by Garrett S

Very small state park with a short hike up to the monument. Beautiful vistas await you. Factoids of GW along the path. Nothing much else here but a few picnic pavilions and restrooms. Full review by J8896YQlauries

Walkwoman pretty much said everything. I parked in the upper lot by the museum and walked to the top. The hike to the monument is uphill, but very gradual. It is main on the Appalachian Trail but then breaks off. Along the route you will see signs telling the history of George Washington himself.
