Mariners ace Logan Gilbert threw a bullpen before a game against the New York Yankees on Tuesday. It's the first bullpen he's thrown since suffering a Grade 1 elbow flexor strain

The final fastballs from Logan Gilbert had more flair on Tuesday afternoon at T-Mobile Park, as the Mariners’ ace topped out around 94 mph when throwing his first full bullpen session since suffering a right elbow flexor strain on April 25.

Seattle added a run in the seventh inning when Randy Arozarena doubled and Dylan Moore blooped an RBI single in front of Judge. Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh demolished a two-run homer in the eighth and Yankees shortstop matched it with a two-run blast of his own in the ninth.

Trying to reach home plate after a sacrifice fly from Aaron Judge, Yankees utility man Oswaldo Cabrera dodged a tag, planted his foot to change direction and suffered an ankle injury that saw him carted off the field and taken to a nearby hospital.
