Television footage showed Narain Singh Chaura, a former terrorist, slowly moving towards Sukhbir Badal, who was sitting in a wheelchair due to a fractured leg, and suddenly pulling out a gun from his pocket.

Arvind Kejriwal said that BJP questioned Punjab's law and order after the incident but ignored the crime situation in Delhi.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann strongly condemned the attack on Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was fired at while performing 'sewa' outside the Golden Temple on Wednesday morning,

Senior officers of the Punjab Police said Wednesday there was sufficient intelligence regarding the threat perception of senior SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal after which his protection was enhanced recently.
