BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Lake Effect Snow Warning remains in effect for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Another 10 to 18 inches possible. How much, exactly? That depends on where you are. Here are some of the snow totals from across the region, as reported by the National Weather Service, most recently at 8:22 p.m. Sunday.

As the lake effect snow continues, New York could see an additional 1-2 feet of new snow, according to the National Weather Service. According to meteorologist Steve Welch, the majority of the snow can be expected south of the Buffalo Metro area and near Watertown.

The Buffalo Bills have shared a clip of intense snow covering Highmark Stadium ahead of their game with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. Snow started falling in the area, in Orchard Park, New York State, on Friday, when it was still unclear whether snow shovelers would be needed.
