FARGO — Former Cass County Sheriff's Deputy Carson Quam, accused of 10 counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials, posted bond and walked free after a Tuesday hearing.

Carson Quam is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Court records say investigators from the North Dakota BCI found 10 photos depicting child pornography on a phone owned by Quam. The photos show men and women engaging in sexual acts with girls ranging from 2 to 14-years-old.

Carson Quam, a Cass County deputy who resigned in mid-November amid a criminal investigation, has been charged with 10 felony counts of possession of child sex abuse material.

FARGO — A former Cass County deputy faces 10 counts of possessing child sex abuse materials. The charges were filed Tuesday, Dec. 3, against 26-year-old Carson Theodore Quam in Cass County District Court. A court hearing was not set as of Wednesday morning.
