The Trump administration is lashing out at New York City officials over their sanctuary policies. The criticism comes after two men living in the U.S. illegally were arrested in connection with the nonfatal shooting of an off-duty Customs and Border Protection officer at a park.
On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security arrested Cristian Aybar Berroa, a criminal illegal alien, and the second suspect involved in the attempted armed robbery of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer who was off duty in New York City in Fort Washington Park under the George Washington Bridge on July 19.
