Delhi CM Atishi accuses BJP of involvement in attack on Arvind Kejriwal during padyatra, while AAP leaders demand stricter security after the attempted assault.

Atishi said, "The man who attacked Arvind Kejriwal today is a BJP goon." She also shared the pic of his membership form or card in which it is mentioned that the victim's name is Ashok Kumar Jha who is a resident of Delhi and also his contact number is mentioned in the pic.

Visuals showed that a man approached the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor when he was acknowledging the crowd and hurled a liquid at him, which was supposedly water, sources said.

According to police, the AAP Chief was shaking hands with the public when a bus marshal, identified as Ashok Jha, attempted to throw "water" at him.

Arvind Kejriwal was doused with liquid during a campaign, sparking political tensions between AAP and BJP ahead of Delhi elections. The liquid was confirmed as water.

Arvind Kejriwal criticised Amit Shah after being attacked by a bus marshal during his padyatra. Kejriwal accused Shah of failing to address crime in Delhi. AAP claimed the BJP orchestrated the incident.

As per the police, the AAP Chief was shaking hands with the public when a person namely Ashok Jha attempted to throw "water" on Arvind Kejriwal, but he was immediately caught as the police staff was nearby along with ropes.
