Michael Madsen has filed for divorce from his wife of 28 years, DeAnna, alleging that she drove their son Hudson to die by suicide in documents seen by PEOPLE

The "Kill Bill" star, who was arrested on a domestic violence charge last month, has filed for divorce from his wife DeAnna following the incident.

The 66-year-old has filed for divorce from his estranged wife, DeAnna Madsen, after 28 years of marriage. Madsen cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, per court documents obtained by The Post, and claimed that they officially separated shortly after their 26-year-old son Hudson died by suicide on Jan. 25, 2022.

The filing comes about a month after Madsen was arrested in Malibu following a report about a domestic disturbance. After Madsen’s detainment, the Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file charges “due to insufficient evidence.
