U.S. President-elect Donald Trump says he wants to make Greenland a part of the United States and does not rule out using military or economic power to get Denmark to hand over the mineral-rich and strategically important island.

Trump Jr. landed in Nuuk, Greenland, on Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports. Trump Jr.’s visit comes as Trump has repeated his 2019 suggestion in recent weeks that Greenland should become part of the U.
