Lauren Branning ( Jacqueline Jossa) looks set to uncover Cindy Beale ’s ( Michelle Collins) affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) in EastEnders. Cindy has bedded her former step-son throughout the last year, and at one point was caught in the act by her ex-lover David Wicks (Michael French).

EastEnders has confirmed that Cindy Beale’s secrets are set to be revealed in a dramatic Christmas Day episode next month.

The BBC One soap has a tall order to live up to the climax of The Six mystery last Christmas which saw the m ale character to die revealed to be Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) and his killer ultimately turned out to be Queen Vic Pub landlady Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
