A barricaded gunman is in custody after shots were fired in Farmington Hills Saturday night. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office sent a Facebook post at 7:19 p.m. saying a gunman had barricaded himself inside a house in the area of 14 Mile Road and Middlebelt Road.

Farmington Hills police and a SWAT team responded to the incident in the area of 14 Mile and Middlebelt Saturday night, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said.

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said a domestic situation that involved a man firing “a number” of shots into the ceiling and allegedly at," his wife in the area of 14 Mile and Middlebelt Roads.

Paul Holland, 44, is charged with felonious assault, discharging a firearm in a building, and two counts of felony firearm for the shooting/barricading at the residence in the 29000 block of Ramblewood Dr., near 14 Mile and Middlebelt roads.

A Farmington Hills man accused of holding police at bay last weekend has been charged, officials said. Paul Holland, 44, was arraigned Monday in 47th District Court in Farmington Hills on counts of felonious assault, discharging a firearm in a building and using a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said.
