Police were called to the crash just before 1 a.m. Wednesday near 43rd and Burdette streets. First Alert 6 is told by police dispatch that the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. The Omaha Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a murder on July 4.
Torrential rain continues to fall over much of Jacksonville from a slow-moving storm. Flooding is likely occurring in several areas.

Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected this afternoon. Thunderstorms have the greatest chance at developing over southern and eastern Middle Tennessee. There, on the Cumberland Plateau, we could even have a strong storm develop, producing a sudden powerful wind gust to 50 mph.
Friday has an additional Slight Risk of excessive rainfall with scattered thunderstorms throughout the daytime. This means some areas could be at risk of flash flooding, especially in urban areas that have experienced recent rainfall.
