Fox News correspondent Christina Coleman has the latest on the deadly central Texas floods that have killed 120 and resulted in more than 170 missing on ‘The Story.’

More than 111 people have died across six counties after flash flooding from heavy rain began affecting the state last week.

July 9 (Reuters) - U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called on Wednesday for the Federal Emergency Management Agency to be eliminated in its current form, even as the disaster-relief agency deployed specialists and supplies to Texas to help respond to devastating floods.

Officials in Kerr County, the hardest-hit region, said the number of missing remained unchanged since Tuesday, at 161. The floods have killed at least 120 people statewide.

The Hardins are not the only South Florida family who lost loved ones in the central Texas floods. The twin 8-year-old granddaughters of Miami childhood education advocate David Lawrence Jr. died in the floods. Hannah and Rebecca were among the girls staying at Camp Mystic.

The Naz Church in Grove City and Discovery Church in Gahanna will serve as collection centers for donations that will be collected through July 11.

As rescue efforts entered a fifth day, country music star Pat Green revealed his own devastating personal experience.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue's Urban Search and Rescue Team, Florida Task Force One, has been activated and a specially trained seven-member team has been deployed, including two K9 search teams and support personnel, to assist in the ongoing search operations.
