Joanna Page has revealed that filming the final episode of Gavin and Stacey was an emotional rollercoaster, with the actor confessing to crying daily on set. Larry Lamb has opened up about the emotional final day of filming Gavin & Stacey, as the much-loved show wrapped up its 90-minute Christmas special.

In the newly-released image, the four main cast members – James Corden as Smithy, Mathew Horne as Gavin, Joanna Page as Stacey and Ruth Jones as Nessa – have recreated the original artwork which accompanied the very first series, 17 years ago.

Gavin & Stacey then premiered on BBC Three - which was a terrestrial TV channel at the time - on May 13 2007. The second season arrived less than a year later in March 2008. The show then jumped over to BBC One for the third (and then final series) in 2009. It premiered on November 26 2009 and concluded on January 1 2010.
