Shohei Ohtani officially holds another Los Angeles Dodgers record. He has hit more home runs before the All-Star break than any player in franchise history. Cody Bellinger previously held the record, having gone deep 30 times before the break in his MVP 2019 season. But on Tuesday night, Ohtani launched his 31st homer of the season.

Ohtani has allowed one earned run and four hits with six strikeouts in six innings pitched. In his most recent outing, a 6-4 loss to the Houston Astros on Saturday, he threw a season-high 31 pitches and struck out the side in the top of the second.
