The 34-year-old Dennis will not be held responsible for Hoskins’ death but has pleaded guilty to a charge that carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.

Rohan Dennis pleaded guilty this week to a lesser charge in the death of Melissa Hoskins last year, after he drove with her on the hood of a vehicle, the authorities said.
