Middleborough man dies from injuries sustained in house fire, officials say
The victim was identified as 67-year-old Nathaniel Williams, who was pulled out from a burning house by firefighters Monday night and later succumbed to his injuries, according to a joint statement by Middleborough Fire Chief Owen Thompson, State Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine, and Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz.
A 67-year-old resident of the home was rescued near a side entrance and taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he later died.
