The Israeli army targeted a power plant and ports in Yemen in revenge for Houthi missile attacks, marking a fresh exchange in another front of the regional conflict. In a statement, the IDF said it had conducted a “large-scale air operation” with dozens of air force aircraft, including fighter jets and intelligence planes.

Israeli air strikes on Yemen killed four people on Sunday and wounded more than 30, Houthi media reported, after Israel’s military said it struck targets in the Iran-backed rebels’ territory including Hodeidah.

Yemen's Iranian-allied Houthis on Saturday said they had targeted Ben Gurion airport in Israel with a ballistic missile and they had timed the attack to coincide with Israeli Prime Benjamin Netanyahu's arrival.
