Skenes has been incredible once again in 2025 and started the All-Star Game for the second consecutive season on Tuesday at Truist Park. He became the first pitcher in MLB history to start the event in each of his first two seasons, a testament to his early-career excellence.
The Pittsburgh Pirates ace started Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game and made quite the impression in his one inning of work. He struck out the first two batters he faced in Gleyber Torres and Riley Greene and then induced a ground out from Aaron Judge to complete his perfect frame.

The Pirates pitcher stopped on the MLB All-Star Game red carpet to help his girlfriend, social media influencer and former LSU gymnast, Olivia “Livvy” Dunne, re-lace her heel after it apparently came undone. The right-handed flamethrower dropped to one knee as cameras caught him assisting Dunne with her heel before the two continued on.
