Stella's Ice Cream is facing over $320,000 in civil money penalties after investigations found that several of its Idaho retail locations "put the safety of dozens of children at risk."

A Nampa ice cream manufacturer has been the focus of a $321K fine for endangering child workers. The Department of Labour investigated Stella’s Ice Cream locations in Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, and Nampa.

Stella's Ice Cream locations in Boise, Caldwell, Eagle and Nampa are facing civil money penalties assessed by the U.S. Department of Labor after finding the safety of children was put at risk, by having them perform dangerous tasks and work later than legally allowed.

The U.S. Department of Labor cracked down on the ice cream shops, which has locations in Boise, Eagle, Nampa and Caldwell.
