The Pokemon GO Wild Area Global event is now on, and a bunch of Timed Research has appeared for you to complete within the two days it's active. Most of these will give you the brand new Safari Ball, which gives you a better chance at nabbing those elusive rare Pokemon, or perhaps one of the new Mighty Pokemon roaming around right now.

The Pokémon Go Wild Area global event runs 10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. local time on both Saturday, Nov. 23, and Sunday, Nov. 24.

There are two main challenges during the Pokemon GO Wild Area Global event. Some involve collecting Electric types, while others involve you catching Poison types. All are available in the wild but at specific times. You'll encounter electric types during the hours of 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM on both Wild Area Global days.

There are a host of new and returning Shiny Pokémon to look forward to, including the Toxel line. Pokémon GO’s new Wild Area Global event is a great way to close the year and snag some cool Shiny Pokémon, with over 30 on offer from Nov. 23 to 24.

Pokemon GO Wild Area is due to start worldwide in less than a day and trainers are gearing up to face its challenges and reap the rewards.
