Green Day has been banned from several Las Vegas radio stations after the band’s frontman deemed Sin City “the worst s–thole in America.”

Billie Joe Armstrong touched a nerve with his fiery rant against Las Vegas, and now the city is hitting back. Some radio stations in the city have pulled the plug on Green Day’s music after the band’s frontman called Las Vegas the “worst s---hole in America” during a hometown show in San Francisco's Oracle Park on Sept.

Armstrong's "inflammatory comments" were a direct response to the upcoming move of the Oakland A's to Las Vegas, where they'll take up residence in the still-under-construction New Las Vegas Stadium, which is replacing the defunct Tropicana Las Vegas.
