Golden Globe-winner Earl Holliman, star of the very first episode of The Twilight Zone, has died at the age of 96.

Earl Holliman, an actor with a half-century of credits including starring in the first 'Twilight Zone' episode and in 'Police Woman,' died Nov. 25 at 96.

Earl Holliman, a prolific TV actor who starred in the very first episode of The Twilight Zone, has passed away. The actor, who also starred alongside James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor in 1956’s Giant, died Monday in Los Angeles following a short illness.
