Starting on January 8, passengers will be able to catch a nonstop flight from Erie to Tampa, Florida. It’s a seasonal service offered by Breeze Airways that will be in operation on Wednesdays and Saturdays until May.

U.S. carrier Breeze Airways, which passed its third anniversary in service in May, has seen “tremendous” revenue growth in 2024, according to Chief Commercial Officer Lukas Johnson.

Breeze Airways, a carrier at Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport,  today announced new service to Orlando, Florida, a previously unserved route, with fares starting from $49* one way.  Gulfport-Biloxi to Orlando will run Thursdays and Sundays starting February 6,

Ticket sales helped convince the airline to add a second Florida destination from Erie, said Jake Rouch, CEO of the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership. The Chamber is coordinating the Fly Erie Fund, a public-private partnership raising money to provide incentives to airlines to operate from Erie.

The first Breeze Airways flight from Provo to Washington Dulles took off Tuesday and came with the announcement of a new flight to Orlando.

The return of commercial airline service to Ogden-Hinckley Airport has been a success according to both the city and the airline that brought it back. Utah-based Breeze Airways began serving Ogden on Feb.
