The next Fortnite update is fast approaching, but when does Epic Games come back from their summer break, and when is the next update?

According to the leaks brought forward by SpushFNBR, Epic Games is likely to go on vacation starting July 1, 2024, with the break potentially lasting till July 12, 2024.

The melee meta is gone, but if Epic Games replaces it with another short-range weapon like the Myst Gauntlets, then competitive gameplay and strategies haven't actually changed much at all.
