Michigan House Democrats railed against a bill Thursday several of them supported in the past that would allow for the revocation of tax exempt statuses for nonprofits President-elect Donald Trump’s administration deems to be terrorism groups.

H.R. 9495 would authorize the treasury secretary to designate nonprofits as supporters of terrorism and strip them of their tax-exempt status.
