A severe weather outbreak is underway across parts of the Midwest, South and East. Tornadoes, some of which could be strong, widespread damaging winds and large hail are possible. On this page, you'll find maps below that will help to track the severe weather outbreak as it unfolds.

While you're sleeping, scattered storms will move through the DFW area during the morning hours, 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., with a chance of large hail up to the size of golf balls. There is another wave that comes through around noon that could produce brief severe hail. These severe storms would be very isolated if they happen.
