Bradley Beal lacked interest in coming to the LakersIn recent days, there was talk around the NBA that Bradley Beal was looking for a buyout of his contract with the Phoenix Suns, and that if he was granted a buyout, the Los Angeles Lakers were one of a few teams that would have interest in him.

Beal's use of just the peace emoji to say goodbye prompted laughs from several other stars across the NBA. Former teammate Durant simply commented a laughing emoji on his post. Another former Suns teammate, Tyus Jones, who recently signed with the Magic, commented "aye man" with two laughing emojis.
All this comes after the Phoenix Suns traded superstar Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and the 10th pick (Khaman Maluach) in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Boston Celtics also began a refresh by trading Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trailblazers and Kristaps Porziņģis to the Atlanta Hawks.
