‘A very challenging time;’ Local food bank feeds community ahead of Thanksgiving
It’s the season of giving and hundreds of local volunteers are participating by putting on the finishing touches and packing up piles of pies to distribute ahead of Thanksgiving. Food Share Ventura County held its annual drive-thru Thanksgiving event, joined by the Los Angeles Rams, giving out over 2,000 turkeys and fixings.
