Legendary James Anderson has entered the auction at 42 years and 117 days, thus making him the oldest among the 577 final list of names. Bihar's 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest of the lot in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant on Sunday made history at the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, becoming the league’s most expensive player with a record-breaking Rs 27 crore bid from Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

The IPL 2025 Auction day 1 saw all 10 teams splash the cash for some top players in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24, Sunday.
