Tottenham have announced the signing of Ghana forward Mohammed Kudus from West Ham and look set to close in on a £60million deal for Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. Spurs are rebuilding under Thomas Frank and agreed what is understood to be a £55million deal for Kudus.
Tottenham Hotspur have started to take the transfer market by storm. Just as Spurs are preparing to announce the £55m signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, talk of a swoop to sign Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest emerged from the blue. Surprisingly, the deal accelerated in rapid fashion.
Kudus’ ability to take on defenders and get to the by-line works well with Spurs’ main right-winger Brennan Johnson, who has made a habit of popping up at the back post to score important goals which could set up an impressive partnership in north London, should Kudus play out on the left.

BBC Sport reported on Saturday that the Hammers had rejected an initial £50m but a deal has now been clinched. Kudus, who has an £85m release clause, joined West Ham in a £38m deal from Ajax in 2023. He has made 65 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists.
