A highway that passes through the hometown of a country music star from northern Louisiana has just been renamed after her. Part of Louisiana Highway 15, which passes from LA Highway 577 to the parish line at Big Creek through Laney Wilson’s hometown of Baskin,

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Grammy Award winning artist Lainey Wilson was honored Nov. 16 in her home town, Baskin Louisiana. Not only does Wilson now have a portion of highway 15 named after her, but she also received the 20th marker on the Northeast Louisiana Music Trail, and November 16th is now known as Lainey Wilson Day.
