Maharashtra Assembly will not have a Leader of Opposition. No opposition party secured the minimum 29 seats required for the position. The Mahayuti alliance won a landslide victory with 230 seats. BJP emerged as the single largest party with 132 seats.

Of the 70 seats spread across Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, and Ahmednagar, the ruling Mahayuti alliance stormed to victory in 53, while the MVA managed only 12
