Ten inmates escaped a New Orleans jail after breaching a wall behind a toilet and possibly having help, the local sheriff said Friday. So far only three of the men have been found.

There are indications the prisoners had help from “inside of our department,” the Orleans Parish sheriff said. Three employees are on leave, and an investigation is underway.
