South Africa and Sri Lanka will go head to head in a decisive Test match, with both teams in the hunt for a berth in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final. The Proteas are high on confidence after their 233-run victory over Sri Lanka in Durban.

South Africa leads Sri Lanka by 281 runs in the first cricket test in Durban after the end of a dramatic second day in which 19 wickets fell.

South Africa's concerns ahead of the Test centre around the make-up of their attack, with Wiaan Mulder and Gerald Coetzee both ruled out. They still have their spearheads in Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen, however, who shared 14 wickets in the previous Test, Jansen getting 11 on his own.
