If the Texas baseball team secures a conference championship this season, it won't be done in Austin. Texas and Florida closed out a weekend series at UFCU Disch-Falk Field with the Gators' 4-1 win on Sunday.

Texas fell into a 2-0 hole on Saturday, but the Longhorns scored five times during a sixth inning that Florida used four pitchers in. Rylan Galvan and Jalin Flores both homered during the sixth session, and Jonah Williams broke open a 2-2 game with a three-run double.

The No. 1 Texas Longhorns (39-9, 19-6) were taken off the field in the bottom of the fifth inning of game two of their three-game series against the Florida Gators (34-17, 12-13) due to a weather delay with lightning in the area.
