In recent years, December's early signing day has effectively become National Signing Day as teams look to solidify the bulk of their recruiting class. While the actual National Signing Day is in February, most high school recruits will sign their National Letters of Intent during the early signing period.

Most players will sign Wednesday, although some recruitments often last until Friday, as the early signing period lasts from Dec. 4-6. National Signing Day is on Feb. 5, although most recruits sign during the early period so they can enroll early for spring semesters.
