Contracts for Blake Snell and Tommy Edman increased the Los Angeles Dodgers' obligations for deferred payments to more than $1 billion owed to seven players from 2028-46.

Tommy Edman and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a $74 million, five-year contract. His new deal contains a team option for 2030 and includes $25 million deferred over 10 years.
