Stock market crash: The Indian stock market saw a massive crash during the afternoon trading hours on Thursday, November 28, 2024. At 2:50 pm IST, the benchmark BSE Sensex fell by a whopping 1,163.92 points or by 1.45%, reaching 79,070.16.

As many as 19 stocks hit their 52-week lows today. BSE stocks such as Kuantum Papers, Response Informatics, Star Housing Finance, Tejassvi Aaharam and Tree House Education their respective one-year low levels.

The BSE’s 30-share Sensex slid 1,039.26 points to 79,194.82, after opening at 80,281.64, compared to the previous close of 80,234.08. At 2:00 pm, the index was trading at 79,438.81, down 0.99 per cent.
