Ohio State’s Micah Parrish had just stolen the ball thanks to an errant Trey Galloway pass, and Indiana men’s basketball’s fifth-year senior guard had no choice but to watch a fellow fifth-year senior guard slam the ball home.
Indiana basketball coach Mike Woodson hinted at making changes to the starting lineup, he lived up to that promise on Friday night:
Kylan Boswell scored 22 points, Kasparas Jakucionis added 21 and No. 19 Illinois opened a 28-point halftime lead in a 94-69 blowout of Indiana.
Oumar Ballo powered his way to 23 points and Indiana overcame an early double-digit deficit to beat USC 82-69 Wednesday.

Ohio State has lost consecutive two-point games to top-25 teams, most recently a 70-68 defeat at No. 24 Wisconsin on Tuesday night. That same day, Indiana took a 94-69 home loss to No. 18 Illinois that, on the heels of an 85-60 loss at Iowa three days earlier, had Hoosiers fans chanting for coach Mike Woodson to be fired.
The Indiana basketball team picked up a much-needed win in overtime on Friday night on the road against Ohio State. IU got 23 points from Luke Goode, which was a career night. Oumar Ballo had 21 points and 15 rebounds.
What Mike Woodson had to say after Indiana broke a two-game losing streak with a Big Ten road victory at Ohio State.
Don’t count these Hoosiers out yet. The first half was close throughout but led most of the way by Ohio State.  The Buckeyes led 35-29 going into the break, as neither offense was clicking.
The Hoosiers (13-5; 4-3 Big Ten) gave Anthony Leal the starting nod in a 77-76 overtime win over Ohio State at the Schottenstein Center on Friday night. It was the Bloomington South alum's third career start and first of the season.
In overtime, Indiana won the extra frame 6-5. Goode hit a huge 3-pointer with 1:07 to play to put the Hoosiers up 77-76, the last points of the game to be scored. Ohio State had the final possession of the game. Anthony Leal blocked a Mobley Jr. attempt and an ensuing Bruce Thornton 3-pointer rimmed around and out for Indiana to emerge victorious.
