Good news! Two fan-favorite cameos from the Wicked movie have received new Funko Pop! figures. As part of the Wicked line, a two-pack of the Emerald City Players- played by original Wicked stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth in the 2024- are up for pre-order.

A new Wicked deleted scene explains why Glinda is unable to do magic despite her dreams of becoming a sorceress.

In the deleted scene, Elphaba explains that Glinda has never been in a situation that required magic because she hasn't faced significant adversity in her life. Despite her initial struggles at Shiz University, Glinda is later able to use magic in Munchkinland.

Kebede, who recently starred in the touring company of Hamilton, will join Wicked on Tuesday, March 4. She’ll play opposite Allie Trimm, who takes over as Glinda at the same time. Trimm was the Glinda standby from December 2021 through March 2024.
