Karel Vejmelka won’t be going anywhere before Friday’s deadline after signing a five-year contract extension with Utah late Wednesday night, according to league sources via Pierre LeBrun. The deal carries an average annual value of $4.75 million, which will make Vejmelka the 20th highest-paid goalie in 2025-26.
